Our Father in Heaven, We come before Your Throne of Grace to continue to pray the men and women of law enforcement in the U.S. and in Great Britain. We seek Your mercies and grace up a wounded Dekalb Police Officer, injured Nashville Officer Kevin Pollard involved in a collision and an injured London (England) Police Officer who was run down by a fleeing vehicle. Lord, each of these incidents continues to remind us of the inherent dangers law enforcement officers across the world are facing daily. We therefore ask for Your healing power be upon all three of these officers. May You grant the medical professionals wisdom, insight and knowledge to be able to properly diagnose their injuries and render the appropriate treatment. More than anything Lord, we are so thankful that You spared their lives. May Your peace, grace and comfort settle upon the hearts of these wounded/injured officers and draw them ever so close to Your Side. May Your presence and comfort additionally settle upon the many co-workers who were so deeply affected at the injuries sustained by their colleagues. Lord, we lift up the men and women of the Dekalb Police Department, the Nashville Police Department and the London Police Department, into Your loving arms. May Your grace, love, peace and mercies touch the hearts of every member of these agencies and bring them comfort for their hearts and souls. May Your love and peace especially touch the families of these officers and may they sense Your sweet presence carrying them through this very difficult time. May Your Holy Spirit especially touch the hearts of any officer who may be struggling emotionally and spiritually and may they be drawn ever so close to Your side. May You prevent any officer from enduring any long-term emotional trauma. May many officers be drawn to the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and eternal life. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
