Our Father in Heaven, We  need Your grace and mercies Lord right now for a critically wounded law enforcement officer. As news reports indicate it does not look good, we still come into Your presence to seek Your mercies upon the life of this officer who was wounded in the line of duty.  Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention into the life of this officer and ask for Your healing touch to spare his life.  May your Holy Spirit be upon this officer and all of the medical professionals.  May You give the doctor’s wisdom and insight in order to be able to save the life of this officer.  May You grant emotional and spiritual strength to the many other law enforcement officers and co-workers who have been so deeply challenged in their hearts and spirits.  May Your presence be made real to every officer and co-worker.  May Your grace especially touch the family members who are at the hospital or may still be driving to the hospital.  Lord, grant peace and comfort in the hearts of every law enforcement officer in Midland and the surrounding allied agencies who were involved in this incident.  May You be their Rock, their Fortress, their Comforter, their Strength, their Shield and Their Peace.  Draw them every so close to Your side in the bonds of love.  May many officers call to You right now and may You hear the cries of their hearts.  Grant healing mercies to this officer.  Most importantly, may Your will be done and may You receive Glory at this difficult time, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
