Our Gracious Lord, It is with hearts of gratitude that we come before Your Throne of Grace to thank You for sparing the lives of four more of Your peacemakers.  Nonetheless Lord, we seek Your grace and especially Your healing touch to settle upon these four law enforcement officers who were injured doing their jobs as law enforcement officers—a job that has been ordained by You.  We ask You, Lord, for Your healing hands to be upon the injuries and wounds of each of these servants and even now, begin the healing process.  May You provide the correct medical specialists for each of these law enforcement officers and may they be able to properly diagnose and then apply the correct treatment that will lead to a full and complete recovery.  As we know multiple paramedics and first responders were involved in treating them, may Your grace also extend to them and draw them ever so close to Your side.  May Your amazing grace and peace touch the countless co-workers with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, the Hollywood Police Department and the Clay County Sheriff’s Department as they are deeply concerned about their co-workers medical conditions.  Most importantly, we ask for Your grace, comfort, peace and Your Presence to surround the many family members who have been so deeply affected at these near-death encounters of their loved ones.  And as we know incidents like these can cause short term and long term emotional and spiritual trauma, may those who are struggling or may be struggling be drawn unto the love of Your Son.  May they know they can always cast all their burdens upon You for You always care for them.  May these injured law enforcement officers intimately sense Your sweet presence in their hearts and minds carrying them through this difficult time.  And as they continue to heal, may they be drawn unto Your Son in whom there is everlasting life and forgiveness of sins.  May they know just how much You truly love them, their co-workers and their families, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
