Our Loving Father, We are thankful to You Lord for sparing the life of this CHP Motorcycle Officer who was seriously injured in a collision.  May you grant the doctors and entire medical staff wisdom to effectively treat this officer's injuries and restore him to full health.  Lord, as there are thousands of other law enforcement officers operating motorcycles right now who are constantly in harm’s way, we want to bring every one of these officers unto your mercy seat and ask for your protecting hand to be upon them wherever they travel.  May you protect them as they drive at high speeds or go in pursuit of violators and other criminals.  And even as they are on routine patrol, may your mercies extend to them wherever they travel and whatever they do.  May you be with the many co-workers of this injured officer and uphold them with your peace, comfort and grace.  May you also be with the officers investigating this collision and grant them wisdom and insight.  May your grace and mercies especially be with this officer’s family and may your peace that transcends all understanding settle on their hearts and minds.  May Your mercies and grace be with all parties who were involved in this collision and sustain them with Your grace.  May many officers and colleagues of this injured officer be drawn to you Lord—the only ONE who can and will provide them a peace that passes all understanding. Continue to touch and heal this injured officer.  May many officers and family members seek You for peace and comfort.  Most importantly may many be drawn unto Your side and may many come to know You, Lord, in a real and personal way, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
