Our Father in Heaven, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up an injured San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy who struck by a car during a foot pursuit.  We are so thankful to You Lord for sparing his life and that according to news reports, he is in stable condition.  As he is being treated, may you grant the doctors wisdom and insight to properly diagnose and treat any injuries and bring about a full recovery.  May You grant the investigators wisdom and supernatural insight to be able to track down the driver of the vehicle that struck the deputy and bring that person to justice.  Lord, at a time like this when attacks on Your servants is on the increase, may You continue to place Your Angels around all law enforcement officers to keep them from all harm and danger.  May every law enforcement officer remember their training and make good decisions in all their daily activities.  May Your grace and mercies especially touch the men and women of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as they rally around their injured co-worker supporting and loving him at this very emotional and challenging time.  May Your grace, love, comfort and peace especially touch the family of this injured deputy and hold them all in Your Arms of Love.  Lord, as incidents like these can cause law enforcement officers and others to look inwardly at their own lives, may You use this incident to draw many to seek Your love to fill that void in their hearts.  May many come to receive You as their Lord and Savior.  Once again Lord, may the suspect be quickly apprehended.  Grant supernatural wisdom to the investigators to catch the suspect.  May You raise up witnesses to identify the suspect or cause the mind of the suspect to be filled with confusion and turn himself in.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
