Our Heavenly Father, We earnestly come before your throne of Grace to seek your mercy and peace as we mourn the loss of our friend and co-worker Detective Martin Landaeta.  Lord Jesus, we also lift up his wife and Deputy Julian Enriquez who were also injured in this tragic accident and ask you continue to touch and heal them.  Lord, so many are feeling a deep emptiness and loss and it is your mercies that we seek to carry us through this difficult time.  May every member of the Sheriff’s department and his family members be drawn close to you where they may find a peace that passes all understanding.  O Lord, wrap your arms of love around us as we seek your unending grace to sustain us through this difficult period.  May the name Jesus Christ be glorified and may many come to know your love in a real and personal way.  This we ask in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
