Our Father in Heaven, as we see these senseless attacks continuing to occur upon Your Peacemakers, we again come before Your throne of Grace to lift up a wounded Fort Worth Police Officer who was stabbed on a routine traffic stop.  And because of this attack, the actions of the suspect caused the officer to use his weapon in which the suspect died. We therefore ask You, Lord, to settle Your sweet presence upon the heart and mind of this officer who had this near-death experience.  May You be with this officer as he is in the hospital and grant the doctors wisdom and discernment to treat this officers wounds and bring about a full recovery.  May Your grace, love, peace, mercy and comfort settle upon him and fill him with Your Holy Spirit.  May You draw him ever so close to Your side.  May You also be with the men and women of the entire Fort Worth Police Department as we know incidents like these can be affect many other officers emotionally and spiritually as well.  May every officer continue to remain professional despite this attack on one their own.  Lord, we also ask You to touch the family of this officer as they are supporting him at the hospital.  Grant them grace, mercy and especially Your peace at this time.  We are so very grateful to You, Lord, for sparing the life of this officer.  May You grant the investigators wisdom and insight to determine what caused the suspect to attack one Your peacemakers.  Continue to touch the hearts and minds of peacemakers across America to remember their training, use the tools at their disposal to save lives, and seek You at all times for wisdom.  May every officer in America, including this wounded Fort Worth Officer receive Your Son as their Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
