Our Father in Heaven, Once again, America witnesses the inherent dangers law enforcement officers willingly confront every day.  We come into Your Presence Lord to lift up this wounded North Miami Police Officer into Your Presence.  As the news reports indicate he survived, we are so very thankful to You Lord for sparing his life.  We ask You to guide the hands of the doctors and medical staff who are treating him and grant them insight and wisdom to properly treat his wounds.  May You provide the correct medical expert needed for this wounded officer.  May Your grace and peace touch the many other North Miami officers and officers from other allied agencies as we know incidents like these bring out a lot of emotions.  May Your grace, peace, mercy and comfort touch this wounded officer and may he sense Your presence even right now as he is being treated.  And as his family is at this side at this time, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit and calm and comfort their hearts and minds as they face this near tragedy with their loved one.  May You also grant the investigators insight to be able to investigate this shooting on Your peacemaker and to use this as a training aid to other officers as well.  May many North Miami officers be drawn ever so close to Your side.  May You cause them to examine their hearts and souls in order to be eternally prepared for Your word says that now is the acceptable time—now is the day of salvation.  We are so thankful for the forgiveness of sins found only in Your Son.  May You draw many officers and family members unto Your Side.  May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to share the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
