Our Father in Heaven, the men and women in law enforcement need You every day as evidenced by this ambush on one of Your Minneapolis peacemakers.  O’ Lord, we come boldly into Your Presence to seek Your mercy and grace upon this wounded officer.  We are so thankful he survived and is in stable condition.  Although we do not know the extent of his wounds, we ask You to grant the doctors treating him with supernatural wisdom and insight.  May they properly diagnose his wounds and render the proper treatment to bring about a full recovery.  May Your grace, peace, mercy, comfort and Your Presence be with this wounded officer and his partner as they both endured this near-death experience together.  We also ask for Your awesome comfort and peace to especially touoch the family of both of these officers as we know this can cause great stress on family members as well.  May You grant the investigators wisdom, insight and depth of knowledge to be able to quickly track down this suspect and bring him to justice.  May Your Holy Spirit speak to the heart and mind of this suspect and cause him to surrender.  And if he does not surrender, may You confuse his mind and cause him to be mentally fatigued.  May You cause witnesses or friends to report his location so he may be apprehended.  May You also cause his weapon to break and malfunction.  May Your grace and supernatural protection extend to every Minneapolis Police Officer and the many other allied agencies involved in this manhunt.  Lord, we ask for Your Presence to be made manifest to the men and women of the Minneapolis Police Department.  May any officer who may have been emotionally traumatized by this act of violence be drawn ever so close to Your Side.  May those officers sense Your Presence and hands of mercy upon them.  May You protect the hearts, minds and spirits of these two officers involved in that ambush.  May You raise up Godly officers, chaplains and others to share Your love with them.  May all officers come to intimately know You will be a Shield about them in the face of danger.  May You use this near-tragedy to draw many officers to seek You.  And may any officer who has strayed from Your Path, be restored and drawn back to You.  May Your Grace be made truly evident to all, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
