Our God of Mercy and Peace, the law enforcement officers of America need Your grace, mercy and protection more than ever as they perform their jobs as peacemakers for the people of America. O’ Lord, we are ever so thankful to You for sparing the lives of three more of Your servants. We first want to lift up Suffolk County Officer Mark Collins who was shot twice. As news reports he is in intensive care, we ask for Your hands of healing to be upon him and grant the doctors wisdom to heal and restore him to full health. We next want to lift up two officers with the St. Louis County Police and the Webster Groves Police injured in more violence in Ferguson. We ask You to instill wisdom and insight to the medical staff to bring about a full healing and recovery. May Your grace, mercy, comfort and presence be with these three wounded officers and may they intimately know You are with them at all times. May Your supernatural comfort touch the families of all of these wounded officers and may they experience Your Peace that passes all understanding. Lord, we ask for Your divine, unique intervention to settle in and upon the hearts and minds of the people of Ferguson, Missouri. Lord, as it appears much of this hate has been satanically inspired, we call on Your Holy Spirit to work mightily in the hearts of many and restore peace. May You cause those stirring up hate and dissension to be apprehended. May You raise up citizen-peacemakers to work among the citizens and the governmental leaders. May You expose the haters and may You remove them. May You use this to draw many law enforcement officers and citizens to seek Your protection and grace at all times. May You touch the hearts and minds of not only the law enforcement officers in and around Ferguson, but also with the Suffolk County Police who experienced the near loss of several co-workers. O’ Lord, we cry out to You our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. America’s law enforcement officers constantly need You to be a Shield about them. From this day forward, may Your Holy Spirit remind every law enforcement officer to be sure to prepare their souls before they go on patrol. May Your angels always encircle Your Peacemakers. May Many officers in Missouri, New York and all across America know Your Word says, “Peace I leave you, My peace I give you.’ May You draw thousands of law enforcement officers unto Your Side and bring peace to their hearts. May they echo the words of Joshua who said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
