Our Gracious Lord, We are ever so thankful for your mercy and grace in sparing the life of Corporal Fred Hasty.  We ask You to give the medical doctors continued wisdom and insight as they treat him to allow for a full recovery.  May Your grace and comfort also be upon the other deputy who was involved in that incident as we know the deep emotional trauma that can affect this deputy.  We also seek Your amazing grace and comfort to settle on the hearts of the men and women of the Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Department as they rally around Corporal Hasty at this very emotional time.  Most importantly Lord, we ask You to supernaturally touch the hearts and minds of Deputy Hasty’s family who had to endure this near-death experience of their loved one.  May Your peace that passes all understanding descend upon their hearts and minds and fill them with Your Presence.  May You grant the Michigan investigators wisdom to be able to gather all of the facts and evidence in this case.  Even though this suspect tried to take the life of one of Your peacemakers, we ask for Your Holy Spirit to settle upon the heart of this suspect and may He know that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  We also place these two deputies into Your Mighty Arms and ask You to embrace them with Your Holy Spirit.  May You draw them ever so close to Your side on this Lord’s Day.  May Your prevent them from enduring the affects of emotional trauma brought on by incidents like these.  And if they do not know You Personally, may they know that now is the day of salvation.  Lord, we thank You for Your mercies.  Continue to protect peacemakers across America and the world.  Draw every peacemaker to the love of Your Son, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
