Our gracious Lord, we come into Your Presence to seek Your healing touch to be upon a seriously injured Ottawa Police Officer from an on-duty collision.  As the new reports indicate he had initially lost consciousness, we ask You to bestow upon the medical staff wisdom and insight to be able to accurately diagnose and treat his injuries.  May any and all injuries, trauma and bruise be accurately identified and may the correct treatment be applied.  May Your mercies and healing power restore this officer to full health.  May Your grace, mercy and Your Presence carry this officer through this emotional time.  May Your love and grace especially touch the family of this injured officer as they, too, must endure the emotional trauma that often accompanies traumatic events like these.  And may Your peace and comfort especially extend to the men and women of the Ottawa Police Department as they rally around their injured co-worker.  May Your healing touch and presence also be with the other driver injured in this collision.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to gather the facts surrounding this collision.  Lord, we ask You to continue to touch the mind and heart of this injured officer and if he does not know Your loving kindness, may You reveal the love of Your Son to his heart so that he may examine his heart should he have lost his life in that collision.  May Your amazing grace and love surround him and draw him unto Jesus, in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
