Praying for a wounded Cincinnati (Ohio) Police Officer

O’ Gracious Lord, Your Word says that if we ask anything in Your name and according to Your will, you will hear and answer us. We therefore come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a wounded Cincinnati police officer. As the news indicates the officer was critically wounded, we seek Your immediate intervention and healing power to be upon him. May You cause any internal injuries to be supernaturally healed by Your grace and mercy. May You grant the medical doctors wisdom to quickly diagnose his injuries and render the correct treatment. Lord, we especially ask You to place Your arms of love around the family members who are very likely at his side supporting and loving him at this difficult time. May Your Holy Spirit touch the men and women of the Cincinnati Police Department as we know traumatic incidents like these can emotionally affect many of them. May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a Light to their co-workers at this very difficult time. May Your grace, love, peace and mercies be poured out upon them and sustain them with Your Arms of love. May You give the investigators wisdom to be able to determine the facts surrounding this attack on one of Your servants. Lord, we ask You to continue to be a Refuge and Strength to this wounded officer and if he does not know You personally, may You give him an opportunity to receive Your love and forgiveness. Lord, may Your strength and Your Presence touch the members of the Cincinnati Police Department and draw them unto Your Side for comfort. May You prevent any of these officers from enduring the rigors of any emotional trauma from this encounter. May You reach into this wounded officers body and heal him. May many see Your power and be drawn to Your Son in whom there is everlasting life for it is Your Kindness that leads us to repentance, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
