Our Gracious Lord, every day law enforcement officers across America and abroad face all types of danger and the burns suffered by this CHP officer are another example of the hazards they can face.  So Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up this CHP officer who was burned when an oxygen canister exploded.  We are so thankful to You Lord, first and foremost, for sparing her life.  As she is being treated at a burn center, we ask You to pour out Your Wisdom upon the doctors and entire medical staff and grant them insight and knowledge to be able to properly treat her burn injuries and restore her to full health.  We ask you to touch the heart and mind of this injured officer and may Your mercies and grace be made ever so real to her.  May You especially be with her many co-workers, friends and family members and sustain them with Your grace and peace as they rally around her and support her at this very emotional time.  May Your grace, peace, mercy, love, comfort and most of all Your Presence, surround this injured CHP officer and reveal to her how much You love her.  And if this officer does not know You personally, may You draw her close to Your side where she may now thay, “Now is the day of salvation”.  May Your peace that passes all understanding draw ever so close to her heart and mind.  May You bring about a full healing without any further complications.  May this officer know Your word says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
