Our Father, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a critically injured Jersey City Police Officer who was struck by a vehicle.   As the news reports indicate he is being treated at a local hospital, we seek Your abundant mercies and healing power to be upon this injured officer.  May You already have in place the correct medical specialists to be able to diagnose his many injuries but may they also have wisdom to apply the correct treatment.  We ask You to pour out Your grace upon this injured officer and draw him ever so close to Your Side.  May he intimately and divinely sense Your Presence as he is in obvious pain.  May Your peace that passes all understanding settle upon his heart and mind and may Your grace and mercy especially comfort his family.  As we know this has affected many co-workers with the Jersey City Police Department, we ask You to pour out Your comfort and grace upon them and draw them ever so close to Your side.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to gather all of the facts and evidence surrounding this incident.   As we know many first responders may have also been emotionally affected, we also seek Your comfort to be upon them as well.  May any officer who has been deeply affected emotionally or spiritually know they whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  If this injured officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may you raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a light to them and point those in need unto the love and forgiveness of Your Son.  May You use this near tragedy to draw many unto Your Side for comfort and peace, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
