O’ Lord, it is Your Divine, supernatural intervention and mercy we ask to be poured upon Trooper Vincent who was shot in the head. O’ Lord, spare the life of Your servant-peacemaker. May You have already lined up a team of medical experts to be able to quickly diagnose and render the correct treatment to Trooper Vincent. May Your Holy Spirit descend upon him and sustain him with You love, grace, peace and mercy. May Your presence especially touch his family members as they gather around him to support each other at this very emotional time. Father in Heaven, may Your everlasting comfort be made so real in the hearts of his wife and son. Fill them with Your amazing grace as they are in the midst of times of turmoil for You can bring them a peace that passes all understanding. We also lift up Officer Warren and thank you that he is stable. May Your healing touch continue to descend upon him and grant the doctors wisdom to treat and restore him to full health. May the many co-workers with the Louisiana State Police, the Arab Police Department and countless allied law enforcement officers rest in Your grace, presence and mercy as they support each other through this difficult time. Lord, continue to pour out Your comfort and grace on both of Your wounded servants. May Your presence be made real in the hearts of the suspects who are all in custody. May they, too, sense Your grace as they must face justice in these attacks. If Officer Warren or Trooper Vincent do not know Your amazing love and forgiveness, may Your Holy Spirit speak to their hearts and allow them an opportunity to receive You into their hearts to be their savior and Lord. May You preserve the hearts of many others who may be emotionally and spiritually struggling at this difficult time. Open the eyes and hearts of many and may the Love and Jesus be made real to countless officers and family members. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
