Our Father in Heaven, we seek Your continued healing touch upon a wounded Indiana State Trooper who shot in the hand.  We are so very grateful to You, Lord, for using these multiple attacks on Your peacemakers as a means to raise up countless prayer warriors who are praying for Your servants.  May You be with the medical doctors who are treating this trooper and grant them supernatural wisdom to diagnose and render the appropriate treatment to bring about a full recovery.  As the family of this wounded officer is at his side supporting and loving him, may Your grace and Your presence bring them comfort and peace in the midst of this very tumultuous incident.  May Your peace that passes all understanding settle upon the heart and soul and this wounded officer and may he sense Your presence and peace as he is being treated. May Your grace and comfort touch the other officers who were present when this incident occurred as we know they can suffer emotionally and spiritually as well.  May Your grace and mercy also be with the family of the suspect who lost his life in this encounter.  As we know many law enforcement officers with the Indiana State Police and other allied agencies may have been emotionally and/or spiritually affected, we ask for Your Presence and Your Grace to touch their hearts and minds and sustain them with Your loving kindness.  May any officer who may have strayed from Your path be drawn back unto Your love and start afresh in Your love and grace.  May Your following word dwell richly in the heart of every law enforcement officer, “Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.”  May You draw continue to draw many officers close to Your Side where they can know You will be their Rock, Fortress and Deliver and an ever present help for those in trouble.  Grant the investigators wisdom to gather all of the facts surrounding this near-death encounter.  May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to reach out to any officer, friend or family member in need of Your loving touch.  May many come to receive Your Son in their hearts as their Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
