Praying for a wounded Kentucky State Police Trooper

Our Merciful Lord, We come boldly before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up a wounded Kentucky State Trooper into Your Arms of Love.  As we do not know the extent of his wounds/injuries, we ask, first, Lord, that You would spare his life.  May You already have in place the medical specialists required to effectively treat this wounded Trooper.  May you grant all of the medical doctor’s supernatural wisdom and power to effectively identify his injuries and may You heal your servant who was performing his jobs as a peacemaker for the people of Kentucky.  Lord, we ask for your sustaining grace to touch every member of the Kentucky State Police and the many allied law enforcement officers as they search for the suspect or suspects responsible for this attack on one of Your peacemakers.  Lord, grant the investigators involved in this incident wisdom and prudence to be able to apprehend this suspect and may You surround every peace officer with Your protecting Hands.  May Your Holy Spirit speak to the heart of the suspect(s) and cause them to surrender.  May You cause their weapons to malfunction and/or misfire.  May Your Holy Spirit confuse the minds of the suspect(s) and may they be filled with guilt, grief and confusion.  May your hands of comfort and mercy especially settle upon the family of this wounded trooper and may You uphold and uplift them with your love, grace, peace and mercy.  O’ Lord, be their rock, fortress, deliverer and refuge. May every law enforcement officer and family member know You will be their Shield and Stronghold.  May Your Holy Spirit draw many to your side.  May you use chaplains and other Christian officers to reach out to other officers and family members at this very emotional time.  Most importantly, Lord, may many come to know Your Grace and the eternal salvation that can be found in You alone.  Continue to pour our Your grace and healing touch upon this Trooper.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
