Praying for a critically wounded Mariposa County (CA) Sheriff's Deputy

| Lord Jesus, We come in earnest to up a Mariposa County Sheriff's Deputy before Yout Throne of grace as he is being treated for a gunshot wound to his face and torso. We thank you that his life was spared and now ask you, Lord, to grant the doctors and other medical professionals wisdom and insight in order to effectively diagnose his injuries and then treat and completely restore him to full health. May you especially settle you peace, grace and love upon his family as they rally around this deputy to love and support him at this very difficult time. May your grace also extend to the men and women of the entire Mariposa County Sheriff's Department and many other allied agencies who are obviously concerned for their friend, colleague and co-worker. May your peace that passes all understanding guard the hearts and minds of every this wounded officer, his family, and co-workers. May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to piece together the details of this shooting. May the members of the Mariposa County Sheriff's Department be granted an extra measure of Your Grace and Mercy to sustain them in the coming days. As we know incidents like this can cause emotional trauma in the future to many deputies and first responders, we ask you, Lord, to send your endless mercies upon this wounded deputy and upon those who were initially at that incident to preserve their hearts and minds in You. Lord, may You use this near-death encounter to draw anyone who has strayed from Your Path to come back to You. Lastly, may every law enforcement officer involved in this incident be given an opportunity to know the Love of Jesus Christ, this was ask in the name of Jesus, Amen. |
