Our Father in Heaven, We draw near to You Lord, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, to bring Officer Jacob Kapeller into Your presence who was involved in a multi-vehicle collision.  Lord, from the news reports, we know the officer is in serious condition and therefore seek Your healing power to he upon his entire physical body.  May You provide the correct doctors and specialists needed to be able to properly and effectively diagnose and treat his injuries.  May Your mercies and amazing grace settle upon the heart, mind and spirit of Officer Kapeller and draw him close to Your Side for comfort.  May Your will be done and may he be restored to full health in due time and be allowed to return to his job as a peacemaker.  May Your grace and comfort touch the hearts and minds of the men and women of the Glynn County Police Department as we know many may have been deeply and emotionally affected from seeing one of their own injured in the line of duty.  May You additionally bring comfort to the drivers and passengers of the other vehicles involved in this collision, too.  We know that You can take a near-death encounter like this and bring about good for we know Your ways are not our ways.  So Lord, we ask You to use this to draw many officers, friends and family members ever so close to Your side for comfort and peace.  May You use this accident to cause many to call out to You for mercy and grace.   And if officer Kapeller does not know Your peace that passes all understanding, may You provide a time and place for someone to tell him about the Love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life.  May many others also find solace in receiving Your Son into their hearts.  Continue to touch the hearts and souls of many Glynn County officers, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
