Our Father in Heaven, The men and women of law enforcement officers worldwide come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the family of Police Constable David Phillips and the entire Merseyside Police Department in this on-duty murder where he was struck by a vehicle during a pursuit.  May Your grace, comfort, peace and mercies especially be with Police Constable Phillips family who are deeply mourning at this tragic loss of a husband and father.  May Your peace touch the law enforcement community across Great Britain as they are diligently searching for this suspect.  May You grant them insight and wisdom to be able to track down this suspect and bring him to justice.   We also want to bring an injured San Francisco Police Officer into Your Presence who was intentionally struck by a burglary suspect in a vehicle.  May you continue to grant the doctors wisdom and insight to properly treat his injuries and restore him to full health.  May Your love, grace comfort and peace especially touch the family of this injured officer as they love and support him at the hospital.  May Your mercies and grace also touch the many other co-workers and friends of this San Francisco Officer as they rally together at the hospital to support each other and his family.  As we know many Great Britain officers are walking through this very dark valley of uncertainty at this moment, may they sense Your presence carrying them through this very emotional time.  May Your mercies and peace touch and encourage the family of law enforcement officers in Great Britain and San Francisco and may many be drawn to the solace and peace found in Your Son who will carry them through this challenging time. And if any do not have a certainty of the salvation provided by Your Son, may You reveal to them that You will be their Strength and Shield at all times.  Sustain the Great Britain Law Enforcement community with Your love and grace and may Your name be forever glorified as they walk through this dark valley, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
