Our Merciful Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of Law Enforcement across Great Britain who are increasingly met with firearm violence and must traditionally still enforce the laws unarmed.  We are so thankful to You Lord for sparing the life of this London Police Officer and ask for your healing touch to continue to be upon his physical body.  May you give the doctor’s wisdom to bring complete healing to his entire body and especially restore full sight to his injured eye.  May your grace sustain this officer’s heart, soul and mind through this near death encounter.  Lord, may your grace and mercies settle upon the men and women of the entire London Police Department and entire law enforcement community as they are come to grips with nearly losing a friend and colleague.  May you also be with the officers’ family and uphold them with your love, grace, peace and mercies as they cope with this near tragedy.  Lord, we are so grateful for your protecting hand to have been upon all of these law enforcement officers.  May You cause the government officials to see the need to arm their law enforcement officers in order to protect their citizens.  And, Lord, if there are any officers or family members who do not have a personal relationship with your Son, may your Holy Spirit draw them to His side and may many come to know Him as their Savior and Lord and receive eternal life in Christ.  May they know when someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!  This we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
