Our Merciful Father, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a wounded Peel Regional Police Officer. We are so thankful to You, Lord, for sparing his life. As the news reports indicate he was airlifted to a local hospital and is stable, we ask You to pour out Your grace and mercy upon his body and bring about a full healing. May You fill the doctors with wisdom and insight as they continue to treat him. May your healing power also be upon the civilian who was wounded just prior to this attack. As the suspect is still on the loose, may You grant the law enforcement officers supernatural wisdom and insight in order to successfully track and apprehend the suspect without any further injury. Lord, we ask You to confuse the mind of this suspect and cause his weapon(s) to malfunction if he tries to fire upon anyone else. May You fill this suspects mind with guilt and may he surrender peacefully. O’ Lord, we ask You to especially pour out Your love, grace, peace and mercy upon the family of this wounded officer and may they sense Your amazing peace carrying them through this difficult time. May Your grace and peace also touch the many other Peel Regional Police officers as they rally around their wounded comrade. May this wounded officer sense Your presence and may he know that he can cast all his burdens on You for You care for him. May this wounded officer be drawn ever so close to Your Side. And If he does not know the love of Your Son, may You draw him close to Your side and may he receive You into his heart and his savior and Lord. Protect every officer as they search for this suspect, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
