Our Father in Heaven, Mercy, Lord, that’s what we cry out to You for.  O’Lord, today has not been a good day for many of Your peacemakers across America.  We seek Your amazing grace, comfort, Presence and Your healing touch to be upon these two wounded/injured officers with the Prestonburg and Pittsburg Police Departments.  As we do not know the status of their conditions, we ask You to send Your Holy Spirit into the hearts and souls of these officers and ask You to spare their lives.  May You fill the medical doctors with Your wisdom to be able to quickly diagnose, treat and restore these officers to full health.  May Your Presence be made ever so real and especially touch the family members who are at the hospital supporting their loved ones.  Lord, grant peace and comfort in the hearts of the men and women of the Prestonburg and Pittsburg Police Department.  May You be their Rock, their Fortress, their Comforter, their Strength, their Shield and Their Peace.  Yes Lord, we ask You to draw them every so close to Your side in the bonds of love.  May many officers, friends and family members call to You right now and may You hear the cries of their hearts.  Grant healing mercies to both officers.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to gather the facts surrounding both incidents.  Most importantly, may Your will be done.  Finally, Lord, we ask You to raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a representative of Your Son and may many seek HIM for peace and comfort.  And if either of these injured officers do no know You, may You give them each an opportunity to receive You as their Savior and Lord and receive forgiveness of Sins and eternal life.  Lastly, may You receive all the Glory at this difficult time.  May many be drawn to You, Our King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
