Our Father of Mercy, we need Your divine intervention and supernatural power upon an Albuquerque Police Officer who has been wounded.  As the news reports have not give the status of his condition, often the silence in the media speaks volumes.  We therefore come boldly into Your Presence O’ Lord.  We ask You to make Your Presence to be ever so real in the life of this wounded officer.  May Your mercy and grace descend upon this officer and spare his/her life.  May You have the correct medical specialists already in place and may they be able to quickly diagnose his wound and apply the correct treatment.  Lord, if this officer does not know You, may You open his heart and mind to be able to hear someone clearly present the good news of eternal life found in Your Son.  Father, we ask You to pour out your amazing grace upon the family members of this wounded peacemaker and may they sense Your grace upholding them at this time of uncertainty for Your word says we are more than conquerors through HIM who loved us.  Lord, may You fill the men and women of the an Albuquerque Police Department and allied law enforcement officers with strength, grace, power, wisdom, peace, mercy and comfort as they are actively searching for the suspect who tried to kill one of Your peacemaker-servants.  May Your Holy Spirit descend upon this suspect and cause his weapon to malfunction of misfire should he try to harm anyone else.  May Your Spirit touch his mind and cause him to be confused and filled with guilt.  May You cause the suspect to surrender peacefully.  May Your angels surround every law enforcement officer involved in this search and may Your peace touch the extended family of all Albuquerque Police officers as we know this has hit them very hard.  Lord, may You use this incident to draw all to come together in the bonds of love for Your word says, “…that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Lord, spare this servant-peacemaker and may he/she be used to bring glory to Your Name.  May peace descend upon the entire city of Albuquerque, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
