O’ Lord, for the third time today in Texas, we’ve witnessed another peacemaker and his K9 wounded in the line of duty.  As we know emotions are running high right now as there are many unknown factors not mentioned in the news, we come with great urgency before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your Presence and healing power to be upon this deputy and his K9.  Lord, Your word says, that “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God”.  O’ Lord, we ask You to bless this peacemaker-servant now and fill him with Your grace and healing power.  May you already have in place the correct medical doctors to be able to quickly treat this deputy.  May You also have the correct veterinarians in place, too, to treat and save the life of his K9 partner.  Once again, Lord, we know Your word says to Cast all of our Cares upon You for You care for us.  May Your awesome healing power reach inside the body of this wounded deputy and stop any bleeding and begin the healing process.  May Your presence settle upon the countless co-workers and friends of this wounded deputy and sustain them with your grace, comfort, mercy and presence.  May Your awesome peace that passes all understanding settle in the hearts of the family of this wounded deputy as they support him at the hospital.  As the news reports indicate the suspect has been taken into custody, we ask You to bestow supernatural wisdom on all investigators to be able to gather all of the facts surrounding this incident.  Lord, pour out Your grace upon the men and women of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department as countless deputies and friends gather at the hospital to support their injured comrade.  As we know all things can be used to bring about good, we ask You to use this incident to draw many deputies and family members ever so close to Your Son who provides peace to all.  And if this wounded deputy does not know You personally, may you raise up chaplains or Godly officers to share the love of Your Son with him and allow him to receive Him as his savior and Lord.  May you use this incidents to draw many to Your Son, our everlasting comforter, our savior, our Messiah, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
