Our Father in Heaven, we come into Your Presence O’ Lord, to lift up the Swedish law enforcement community as they mourn the loss of one of their officers during a pursuit and for a second officer who was seriously injured.  As we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace, we ask You, Lord, to pour out Your peace, comfort and grace upon the law enforcement officers who were present when this incident occurred and hold them close with Your arms of love.  May Your mercies go forth and gently settle upon the family of both officers and hold them ever so close to Your Side.  May Your Holy Spirit especially comfort the officer who lost their loved one and sustain them with Your Amazing grace.  And as the second officer is in serious condition, may You grant the medical doctors with supernatural wisdom to be able to accurately diagnose his injuries and then apply the appropriate treatment to bring about a full recovery.  As the Swedish law enforcement community will now have to prepare a final farewell to their fallen comrade, may You use this as an opportunity to point many to the love and peace found only in Your Son.  May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to share the love of Your Son and may many receive Him into their hearts as their Savior and Lord.  May Your peace that passes all understanding be made ever so real in the hearts of countless law enforcement officers and family members who are grieving ever so deeply.  May You use this tragedy to draw many ever so close to YOU and each other in the bonds of love, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
