Our Father in Heaven, unto You Lord, we give you all of our thanks and praise for sparing the life of another one of your peacemakers, Trooper Patrick R. Casey.  May Your mercy and grace continue to touch Him.  May You grant the medical doctors wisdom to continue to effectively treat his shoulder wound and restore him to complete health.  Lord, as we know Trooper Casey and many other law enforcement officers who were involved in this incident may have been affected both emotionally and spiritually, may Your peace that transcends all understanding sweetly settle upon their hearts and minds.  May your grace and mercies also touch Trooper Casey's family as they experienced the near loss of a loved one during this Thanksgiving season.  Lord, may your mercies and grace touch every member of the entire Pennsylvania StatePolice Department as we know incidents like this can cause many others to experience similar emotional trauma.  May your continued healing power touch Trooper Casey and strengthen him daily. May You reveal the love of Your Son every day to Trooper Casey and may he also be strengthened in the Love of Your Son.  And if Trooper Casey or any other law enforcement officer does not have a personal relationship with Your Son,  may You raise up chaplains or other Godly men and women to stand in the gap to share Your Love especially during this Thanksgiving season.  May many law enforcement officers and others come to receive Your Son into their hearts as their Savior and Lord and receive eternal life—the greatest reason for Thanksgiving.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
