Our Gracious Lord, We have nowhere else to turn but to Your Lord. We come in deep earnest before your throne of Grace to lift up an Aberdeen Police Officer who was shot in the face with a shotgun.  As the news reports he was shot in the eye, we seek Your healing power to be upon this officer and spare his life and his sight. Lord, we ask Your healing touch to be upon his entire body right now and prevent him from enduring any long term physical or emotional trauma. May You have already in place the correct medical specialists in order to diagnose and effectively treat and heal him. May Your Holy Spirit touch the heart, mind and spirit of officer Easton and may he sense Your Presence with him right now. Lord, we are so thankful this suspect was arrested so no others will be injred.  May you give the investigators wisdom in order to piece together the facts in this attack on one of Your servants. May your grace, comfort, peace and mercies especially touch the family of this wounded officer and hold them tightly in the palm of Your Hands. May Your grace and mercies additionally touch the men and women of the Aberdeen Police Department as they rally around their wounded officer supporting him and the family at this very emotional time. Lord, May You use this near death experience to draw many officers and others close to Your Heart where many can know Your loving-kindness and forgiveness. May You cause many to be still so they may intimately know You are God. May many know now is the day of salvation. Thank you for sparing the life of Officer Easton and may He also receive You into his heart if he does not know you. May You raise up the correct medical specialists to heal and restore this officer, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
