Lord, As Law Enforcement officers, we thank you that you are Wonderful, that you are our Counselor, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father and our Prince of Peace. I thank you for your protecting hand to have been on my life these many years in law enforcement and for your protecting hand to continually be upon my wife these past 37 years. Thank you for your hand of protection upon my children as they continue to also serve you as law enforcement officers. Pour out upon my wife, my children and their spouses an extra measure of grace and mercy to endure the many trials, tests and difficulties that come upon those in this profession. Use my children as instruments of your love, your justice, your righteousness and your mercy. May the name of Jesus be glorified in everything they do. Protect my children and all of the law enforcement officers in America from the ungodly evil influences that are so prolific today. We ask for YOUR wisdom, intuition and deep insights to know how we can be used for your Glory in every aspect of our jobs as law enforcement officers. May YOUR light shine through our actions, words and thoughts as Godly examples to our co-workers and to the public whom we serve. Give us supernatural wisdom to be able to thwart crime, protect the innocent and be YOUR instrument of righteousness every day. We thank you for saving us through your Son. We acknowledge you as our King of Kings, our Lord of Lords, our Bread of Life, our Living Water, the Resurrection and the Life and the Way the Truth and the Life. May YOUR name be glorified in our jobs as law enforcement officers and may YOU reign supreme in all we do on and off the job. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and in everything we do at home and at work--and may YOU receive ALL the Glory, Honor and Praise. May every officer in America exemplify YOU by exhibiting Integrity, Responsibility, Obedience and Nobility (I.R.O.N.) -- this we ask in the precious, awesome and Holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
