Dear Lord,
We lift up the four officers of the New York Police Department unto your Throne of Grace.  Lord, we want to thank you for sparing their lives and we pray that you will comfort these four men who were shot during that armed confrontation and may they fully recover from their injuries.  May your Holy Spirit descend on them and comfort them, their families and their co-workers.  We ask you, Lord, that you would reveal your love, grace and mercy to all of the officers and if any do not know you, may you reveal yourself to them that they may understand the importance of Your sacrifice which we celebrated today.  Out of this tragic circumstance, we ask that you would bring a special peace in the hearts of these officers which passes all understanding.  May your love reign supreme in their hearts for YOUR supernatural protection on their lives.
