Lord Jesus, 

We come again to you seeking your peace and grace as we endure the tragic loss of Deputy Brian Hayden with the Choctaw County (Oklahoma) Sheriff’s Department and injury of Choctaw tribal officer Josiah Moore.  We especially lift up the families of these men and pray for the comfort that only you can provide.  Lord we ask you to grant an extra measure of grace to the many co-workers and first responders as they, too, endured the emotional trauma of this collision.  Through this tragedy, may the name of Jesus be lifted up and may YOUR name be glorified.  May your love, grace, peace and mercy be multiplied as the men and women of law enforcement, and especially the families, endure the loss of their friend and colleague.  May you also provide a speedy recovery for the injured officer, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
