Responsibility (The “R” in IronGuys)
by
Randy Emon

Every Law Enforcement officer knows they have responsibilities both on and off duty.  Check out what the bible has to say about fulfilling ones responsibilities:

  • Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good,  to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. Titus 3:1-2(NIV)
  • Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men... Colossians 3:23(NIV)
If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8(NIV)
  • From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Luke 12:48b(NIV)
  • Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:7-8(NIV)
  • Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)
  • And now a word to you fathers. Don’t make your children angry by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction approved by the Lord. Ephesians 6:4(NLT)
