"Police Stress"

As every law enforcement officer will encounter many stressful situations, have you ever wondered if the Bible offers any insights what someone can do about being personally stressed?

  • Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.  Romans 12:12(NLT)
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31(NKJV)
  • God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1(NKJV)
  • And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28(NIV)
  • Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;Do not fret—it only causes harm. Psalms 37:7-8(NKJV
  • In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me. Psalms 86:7(NIV)

  • Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7(NLT)
