What’s more valuable to a law enforcement officer—fearing man or fearing the Lord?
Check out what the bible has to say about that, click here:

  • To fear the LORD is to hate evil.   Proverbs 8:13a (NKJV)
  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7(NKJV)
  • He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death. Proverbs 14:26-27(NIV)
  • And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28(NKJV)
  • Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14(NKJV)
  • Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! Psalms 111:10(NLT)
  • And he said to man, ‘The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.’” Job 28:28(NIV)
