Praying for two injured Louisiana State Troopers struck by another police vehicle, one in critical condition

Our Father in Heaven, for the third time in two days, we, again, come in great earnest before Your throne of grace as we seek your mercy and healing touch to be upon these two troopers struck by another police vehicle. As the news reports one of the troopers injuries were minor but the second trooper is in critical condition. We, therefore, ask for Your grace, mercy, comfort, peace and healing power to be upon his physical body and uphold him with Your arms of Love. May You raise up the correct medical specialists who will be able to diagnose and treat his injuries and bring about a full recovery without restriction. May Your peace that passes all understanding touch the heart and mind of both officers and may Your Holy Spirit draw them close to Your side. May Your Presence be made ever so real to the men and women of the Louisiana State Police as they rally around their comrades and their families at this very emotional time. May Your abundant grace and mercies especially touch the families of both troopers and may they intimately know and sense Your Presence with them. May they know it is You who will carry them through these uncertain times. Lord, we also ask for Your grace and wisdom to be bestowed upon investigators in order to determine the facts surrounding this collision. May Your word as follows bring deep comfort to those in need, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” And, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” We also pray for every law enforcement officer, firefighter, paramedic, and the many other first responders who assisted these injured troopers at that hectic scene. May your hands of grace, mercy and protection be with them at all times and grant them peace and grace. May you use this collision to draw not only these injured troopers close to Your Side, but also many other co-workers and family members as well. As these troopers are recovering, may they and their families know that you are our King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Light of the World, Our Living Water, our Bread of Life, our Messiah and our God. May Your Holy Spirit settle upon the hearts of many and may they come to receive You in their hearts as Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
