Our gracious Lord, as 2016 begins, we will continue to seek Your mercy and grace upon law enforcement officers across America and abroad.  We therefore come into Your Presence to seek Your mercy, grace and healing touch to be upon officers/deputies with the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department, New York City Police Department and Portland Police Bureau who were injured in on-duty collisions.  As many of these law enforcement officers are being treated at hospitals, we ask You to give the medical doctors supernatural wisdom and knowledge to accurately diagnose their respective injuries and then apply the correct treatment.  May Your peace and comfort settle upon the hearts and minds of these peacemakers and may they be sustained and uplifted by the presence of Your Holy Spirit.  And as we know multiple family members have been notified and are likely at the hospital loving and supporting their injured loved ones, may these family members come to intimately sense Your amazing grace carrying them through this emotional time.  May You grant the investigators with each agency with wisdom to be able to accurately investigate these collisions.  May every law enforcement officer know Your word says, “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble.”  Finally, may Your grace be with the countless co-workers with these agencies as they support their injured colleagues.   O’ Lord, we ask You to speak to the hearts and souls of every officer and may they come to know Your peace that passes all understanding.  And if any of these collisions may have caused anyone to be fearful, may You speak to their hearts and draw them unto the love and forgiveness of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life.  May Your peace and grace be made real in the hearts of many and if any do not know You personally, may they know that now is the day of salvation, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
