Our Merciful Savior and Lord, the men and women of Texas law enforcement need Your Presence right now. We again, seek Your abundant mercies and grace upon these three wounded Houston Police officers who have been shot in the line of duty. As the news reports their wounds were not life-threatening, we ask You, Lord, to continue to surround these wounded peacemakers with Your Holy Spirit. May You continue to line up any needed medical specialists ready to render the appropriate treatment upon Your servants. May Your Hands rest upon these wounded peacemakers and preserve their lives in Your loving arms. O’ God, we thank You for sparing their lives. May You surround them with Your angelic hosts and keep the evil one away from their hearts and spirits. May Your peace that passes all understanding gently settle upon the hearts of these law enforcement officers and may You, even now, begin the healing process and restore them to full health. May Your Presence and comfort especially touch the families of these peace officers as they are rallying around them to support them at this very emotional time. As the suspect is on the run, may You grant the investigators wisdom to locate and arrest him without any injury to any officer. May You cause the suspect to be confused, fatigued and unable to have any rest until he peacefully surrenders. May Your Holy Spirit touch his spirit and cause him to surrender. And if he tries to use his weapons, may You cause them to misfire or malfunction. Lord, we ask for Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort to strengthen the men and women of the Houston Police Department as they endured this attack on their co-workers. Lord, may Your Presence fill the hearts and minds of every officer/deputy/trooper who is currently at that scene and may they know it is You who are carrying them through this difficult time. Lord, fill every officer and deputy with Your Wisdom, Your Peace and most of all the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Bring this manhunt to a peaceful resolution. Raise up chaplains and Godly officers to reach out to support each other. May You continue to supernaturally protect every law enforcement officer across America. May Your words as follow dwell richly in the heart of those in need, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
