O’ God, these attacks on Your peacemaker-servants must stop. O’ Lord, we need Your supernatural and divine intervention. We, again, come into Your Presence, Lord, to lift up three of Your Phoenix peacemakers shot in the line of duty—just protecting their community. We are so thankful these officers are in stable condition. As one female officer has undergone surgery, we seek Your continued healing touch to be upon the two other officers. May You provide the medical doctors with wisdom to identify their wounds and bring about a full recovery. Thank You, Lord, for sparing their lives. May Your mercies and grace touch the body of these law enforcement officer and sustain them with Your Arms of Love. May they make a full recovery in body, spirit and mind. We are so thankful the suspects in one of those incidents has been arrested. As there is a manhunt for the shotting of the female officer, May You grant the investigators with wisdom to gather all of the facts and evidence in this case. May You raise up witnesses and citizens to spot the suspect and report him to authorities. May You cause the suspect to have no rest or peace and be fatigued and confused. May You prevent him from harming any other officers or civilians and may You cause his weapon to malfunction. So, Lord, may Your love, grace, peace, mercy and everlasting comfort settle upon the heart and mind of every member of the Phoenix Police Department and grant the leaders wisdom to protect the protectors. May Your amazing grace especially descend upon the families of these injured peace officers and their colleagues as they are rally around them to love and support them at this very emotional time. Lord, as we know this attempted murder of these peace officers will affect many other Phoenix Police Officers, co-workers and others in the local law enforcement community, may Your grace and love surround them and hold them ever so tightly in Your Hands. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a ray of hope to these injured officers and any others who were involved in this near-death encounter. If any of these injured law enforcement officers do not know You personally, may You remove the scales from their eyes and heart and reveal to him the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May they know Your word says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” O’ Lord, let Your peace that passes all understanding settle in the hearts of these injured officers, their families and in the heart of every member of the Phoenix Police. Lord, preserve the hearts and minds of those affected and spare them from any short-term or long-term emotional trauma. May You use this incident Lord, to open the hearts of many to know and receive the salvation of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May You use this to draw many who may have fallen away from You and may You welcome them back into Your arms of Loving kindness, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
