Our merciful Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up these two wounded Pocatello Police Officers into Your Presence. As one is in serious condition after being shot three times, we ask You, O’ Lord, to supernaturally touch this officer with Your Amazing Grace and healing power. May You raise up the correct medical specialists and grant them wisdom and insight as they use their knowledge and experience to heal Your wounded peacemaker. May Your Holy Spirit touch the heart, mind and spirit of this seriously wounded officer and bring about a full recovery. We also lift up the other wounded officer who has been released from the hospital. May Your love, grace, mercy and comfort carry him through the near-death encounter. May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of both officers and if they do not know You personally, may You speak to their heart and allow them to receive You into their heart. As this seriously wounded officer’s family is at his side may they know the power of Your word was follows, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” And, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” O’ Lord, as the families of both officers are rallying at their sides to support them, may they know You said, “Peace I leave You, my peace I give you.” We are thankful the officers were able to protect themselves in which the suspect was wounded and arrested. Grant the members of the Pocatello Police Department peace in the middle of this storm. May Your amazing grace and presence surround them and encourage their hearts. Lord, we continue to lift up Your peacemakers across America into Your Arms of Protection. May Your grace and peace touch the hearts of your peacemakers everywhere and keep them same from all harm and danger, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
