O’ God, our hearts are broken in pieces at this heinous and senseless criminal act of vengeance on multiple children in Uvalde. We want to first, come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the two wounded officers and other wounded students into Your Arms of love. it is only You, our Merciful God, to whom we can seek for help. As there are also multiple children being treated at hospitals, we ask You to raise up multiple surgeons and other medical specialists to treat and save their lives. And as there are multiple family members affected from this tragedy, we ask You to surround them with Your Presence and uplift them with Your mercy, peace and grace. May You draw them ever so close to Your Side as You carry them through this very dark period. O’ God, as the entire Uvalde community is in shock and mourning, uplift them with the presence of Your Holy Spirit. May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts and minds of so many in need and draw them unto the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. Lord, we ask You to raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a representative of Your Son. May you use this tragedy to draw countless law enforcement officers and citizens to Your Side and may many come to know and receive You as their Savior and Lord. We are thankful the suspect is no longer a threat. So, Lord, it is only You, our Master, our Savior, our Messiah, to whom we can go to for help. Because Your word says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”; it is to You we ask to be a refuge for every citizen of Uvalde and the countless law enforcement officers involved in that investigation. May You be their Rock, Fortress and Deliverer. May every citizen and peace officer be reassured right now for Your word says to, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Lord, surround every peacemaker and citizen right now with Your Presence. May You be their supernatural Kevlar. May Your Grace bring about good through this horrific tragedy, in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, we pray, Amen.
