Our Merciful Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up critically wounded Clayton County (GA) Police Officer Demika Lloyd. As the news reports the she was shot three times, we come in great earnest into Your Presence to seek You healing touch upon this officer. May you grant the investigators wisdom to gather all of the facts and evidence in this incident in which the suspect was also wounded. So. Lord, we continue to lift this wounded officer into Your loving arms. May You pour out Your love, grace, mercy, peace and comfort upon her heart and mind. As she is being treated at a local trauma hospital, may You grant the medical doctor’s wisdom and insight to accurately diagnose her injuries and then continue to apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. And as Officer Lloyd’s family is likely at her side supporting her through this near-death experience, may You comfort them by the power of Your Holy Spirit and draw them ever so close together in the bonds of love. O’ Lord, as there are countless officers across America on-duty every day of the year, continue to surround them with Your Holy Spirit and supernaturally protect them and may Your Holy Spirt supernaturally stop these attacks upon Your servant-peacemakers. As we know this attack has affected the men and women of the Clayton County Police may your Presence, comfort and amazing grace carry them through this dark valley. May every officer know Your word says, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world”, And “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” May law enforcement officers across America know how much You love them and may they surrender their hearts and lives to You as You supernaturally protect them with Your love, grace, power and mercy. May Your Amazing Grace touch Officer Lloyd and heal her. And if she does not know You as her Savior and Lord, may Your Holy Spirit speak to her heart and allow her to invite You into her life to be her Savior and Lord. Continue to heal her and draw her unto the love of Your Son, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
