Our Father in Heaven, the men and women of law enforcement need Your Presence and grace evermore O’ Lord, as this is the 6th law enforcement wounded this past week. Nonetheless Lord, we acknowledge that you are our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. And for that reason Lord, we thank YOU for sparing the life of this wounded officer. As he is being treated at a hospital, we ask that you continue to grant the medical staff wisdom to effectively treat his injuries and restore him to full health. May your peace, grace and mercy settle upon this wounded officer and his family and may You uphold them with Your Mighty Arms of Love. We also lift up the entire Pasco Police Department and law enforcement investigators as they gather the facts from this incident. May your peace that passes all understanding settle upon them and sustain them with Your Presence and grace. As we know this has affected many in the local law enforcement community, We know You, Lord, are the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds the wounds and therefore also ask for Your merciful touch to be upon the hearts and minds of the officers, their families and the Pasco Police Department. May your Holy Spirit grant them strength and grace as they come together in the bonds of love supporting each other at this emotional time. May you also be with all of the first responders, paramedics and medical personnel who were involved in treating this injured law enforcement officer and suspect. May your Holy Spirit settle upon their mind and spirit and grant them peace in their hearts. May Your word as follow comfort those in need, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“ May You be a Fortress and Protector to every law enforcement officer in Washington and across the United States. May You, Lord, bring hope and encouragement to every law enforcement officer and family member. May many be drawn to the Love of Jesus Christ where there is endless mercy and grace. And if this wounded Pasco officer has strayed from Your path or does not know you, may he or any other person have an opportunity to come to know You, Jesus, as their Savior and Lord.
