Praying for two critically wounded Memphis (TN) Police Officers

O’ God, we need Your divine intervention right now Lord, for these two Memphis officers in which the news reports are in critical condition. As both officers are being treated at a hospital and have already undergone surgery, we come with great boldness before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your healing power to be upon these officers. As they are reported to be stable, may You bring in the needed medical specialists who will be able to continue to diagnose and treat their injuries and restore them to full health. Lord, we ask for Your Holy Spirit to speak to the hearts and souls of these two wounded officers. May they know You love them and if these officers do not know You, may they receive You as their Savior and Lord. As we know multiple family members are at the hospital with their loved ones, may Your mercy and grace sustain them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them ever so close to Your Side as You carry the, through this time of uncertainty. May Your healing power touch Your peacemakers. We are thankful the suspect is no longer a threat and ask You, Lord to grant the investigators wisdom to piece together the facts surrounding this attack. As this has struck the men and women of the Memphis Police Department ever so hard especially in light of recent events, may You hold every officers in Your Arms and sustain them with Your Amazing Grace and peace as You carry them through this very emotional time. O’ God, protect the men and women of the Memphis Police Department with Your Shield and Your Power. Be a Rock and Fortress to them. Continue to provide the best treatment for these officers and spare their lives O’ God. May Your words bring comfort to the hearts of many, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” ; “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” ; and, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” May Your Holy Spirit comfort every Memphis officer and their families, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
