Our Merciful Lord, we are thankful that the job of a law enforcement officer was ordained by you. We, therefore, come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up two San Antonio Police Officers wounded in the line of duty. As they are listed in serious condition, it is You, Lord, our King of Kings and our Great Physician that we come before You to seek Your amazing grace and healing touch to be upon these officers. O’ God, spare their lives. May You, even now, reach into their physical bodies and begin the healing process. May you grant all of the medical staff with supernatural wisdom and natural wisdom to be able to diagnose their injuries and bring about a full healing. We also lift up the Pyramid Lake Tribal Police in the loss of Officer Anthony Francone. May Your word bring comfort to the men and women of the San Antonio Police Department and Pyramid Lake Tribal Police as follow, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” And, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Merciful God,, may You fill the investigators and officers at those scene with Your Holy Spirit. May You draw every officer unto Your Side for Your word says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” So, Lord, we place these wounded peacemakers into Your Hands. If either officer does not know You as Savior and Lord, may You speak to their hearts and souls and may they receive You into their heart and receive everlasting life. As the family members of both officers are at the hospital, may Your grace, mercy, peace, Presence and Your comfort touch their hearts and minds as You carry them through this time of uncertainty. O’ Lord, heal these officers. And as the Pyramid Lake Tribal Police must begin to prepare a final farewell to their fallen partner, may this final service draw many unto the love of Jesus. “Now to Him (our Lord Jesus) who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. May the name of Jesus be lifted high, in Jesus’ name, Amen
