Praying for two wounded Phoenix (AZ) Police Officers, one in critical condition

O’ God, it is Your Mercy we seek for every law enforcement officer in America as we lift up the men and women of the Phoenix Police Department in which two officers were wounded. As one officer is in critical condition, we come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace and lift this officer into Your Hands. O’ God, may You fill every medical doctor with wisdom to be able to accurately identify his injuries and then apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. O’ God, as the family of this critically wounded officer is at his side, may they intimately sense Your presence carrying them through this difficult time and may they place their trust in You. O’ God, spare his life. Lord, these attacks upon Your servants continue to be an example of a deeper problem with sin in America and anti-law enforcement sentiment. Nevertheless, Lord, we continue to lift up these Phoenix officers into Your Presence. As the second officer was shit in his ballistic vest, may You continue to provide him with the best possible medical care and may You also provide the correct specialists to be able to diagnose and treat any injuries. As we know this was emotionally traumatic for the many officers, first responders and medical staff who were responsible for treating these wounded officers, may Your mercies, comfort and grace extend to all. May Your mercies and grace also extend to the many other co-workers, paramedics, fire-fighters and allied law enforcement agencies who responded to assist at this crime scene. We are so very thankful a suspect was arrested. And if there are any other suspects on the loose, may investigators be able to locate and arrest him swiftly. Most importantly Lord, we lift up the family members of each wounded officer and ask for Your grace and strength to settle upon their minds and hearts and provide them a peace that passes all understanding. May Your word comfort many as follows, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And as we know traumatic incidents like these can cause long term emotional trauma, may Your Holy Spirit settle upon the heart of all officers and any others affected and sustain them with Your mighty arms of love and Your amazing grace. May You continue to grant the investigators supernatural wisdom and insight to effectively investigate all aspects of this crime. May You use this life-threatening situation to cause many to reflect inwardly at their hearts and souls. And if these wounded officers or any others do not know of Your unending love, may You draw them ever so close to Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May many come to receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Continue to grant Your peace and grace to Your wounded servants who faced mortality tonight and survived. May Your love reign supreme in the hearts of many, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
