Our precious Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of grace and into Your Presence to earnestly lift up a two New Orleans Police Officers who were wounded in the line of duty. As we do not know their conditions as they are being treated at a local hospital, we ask you Lord, to grant your continued healing power to be upon these officers and give the doctors wisdom to be able to effectively treat their injuries and render the correct treatment to completely restore then to full health. O; Lord, spare their lives. May your grace, peace and comfort be with the entire New Orleans Police Department. As there are multiple deaths from this intentional attack and many injuries, may Your mercy and grace also touch the army of paramedics, first responders and emergency medical personnel who treated and are still treating the injured. May you touch the minds and hearts of Your two wounded servant-peacemakers and spare their lives. May You grant the investigators skillful wisdom to gather the facts surround this attack upon Your servants and citizens. We are thankful the suspect is no longer a threat. We especially want to lift up the families and/or spouses of these wounded officers and ask that your love, mercy, grace, peace and strength sustain them through this difficult time. May the comfort of your Holy Spirit be upon the entire New Orleans Police Department and their families and may you bring comfort and peace to all as You carry them through this storm. May Your words as follows forever encourage many hearts, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” May the name of Jesus be glorified throughout the entire New Orleans Police Department and may many come to personally know the love of Jesus. And if these wounded officers do not know You, may You speak to his/her hearts and allow them to receive Your love. May many know they can always place their hope in You as You will always be at their side for Your Word says that You will never leave us nor forsake us. May those in anguish know Your word says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
