Our Father in Heaven, we come in deep earnest before You Lord to lift up a critically wounded St. Clair Township Police Officer who was shot in the head. O’ Lord, as You are the King of Kings and because You are our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father and our Prince of Peace, we know that we can come into Your Presence to lift up this officer before Your Throne of Grace. We ask for Your grace and mercies to be poured out upon him as he is fighting for his life. May You grant every doctor and medical professional supernatural wisdom in order to use every bit of their medical training to save the life of this officer. May Your grace surround the men and women of the St. Clair Township Police Department and draw them all so close together in the bonds of love. May Your peace and mercies also be with the other officers who were present and had to use deadly force to stop the suspect who was also wounded. May You pour out Your mercies on their hearts and minds as they witnessed a co-worker to be critically wounded. May Your everlasting comfort and grace descend on their heart, mind and soul. May You grant the investigators wisdom to determine the facts surrounding this assault on Your peacemakers. O’ Lord, we also seek Your amazing grace and Your supernatural presence to made ever so real to the family and close friends of this wounded officer as they are at his side supporting him at this very difficult time. May every member of the St. Clair Township Police Department be drawn ever so close to Your side. May they realize they can lean on You for strength and grace. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers and friends to share the love and peace of Your Son for we know only Jesus can provide them with a peace that passes all understanding. May Your words as follows touch many lives, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Once again Lord, we seek Your healing touch this wounded officer. May You use this incident to bring many together in the bonds of love and may they intimately know You will always be their Refuge and Strength. Most importantly Lord, may many officers and family members come to know the forgiveness and eternal life found only in Your Son, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
