Praying for a seriously wounded Monroe (NC) Police Officer and a wounded Chicago (IL) Police Officer

Our Father in Heaven, it is with deep hearts of thanksgiving, we come before Your Throne of Grace to thank You for saving the lives of Your peace officers. We, therefore, want to lift up into Your healing arms a seriously wounded Monroe Police Officer and a wounded Chicago Police Officer who were both shot performing their jobs as a peace officer. And so Lord, we seek Your mercies and healing power to touch the Monroe Police Officer. As the news reports indicate the officer sustained serious injuries, we are so thankful she has now is reported to be in stable condition. We are also so thankful unto You, Lord, for sparing the life of this Chicago Police Officer who was shot in a leg. May Your grace continue to descend upon all of the medical personnel who were involved in the life-saving efforts upon these peace officers and fill them with wisdom and insight to be able to continue to properly treat their injuries and bring about a full recovery. We are so grateful to You Lord, that neither peacemaker lost their life. May Your grace be shed abundantly on these two servant-peacemakers and may Your Holy Spirit draw them ever so close to Your side to be comforted by Your Arms of Love. May these servants sense Your divine presence carrying them through this very emotional time. May You also supernaturally touch the families of these wounded peacemakers and draw them ever so close to Your Side. May many be encouraged by Your word as follows, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.” As we know traumatic incidents like these can leave emotional scars, we seek Your grace to be abundantly poured out on these servants and prevent them from enduring any short-term or long-term emotional trauma. We especially seek Your grace upon all law enforcement officers across the United States. We are so thankful the suspects who attacked these peace officers are no longer a threat. May You endow the investigators with wisdom and insight to be able to gather the facts. We ask You Lord, to use these incidents to draw many unto Your side. May these wounded law enforcement officers and any of their co-workers be drawn to Your Son in whom there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. And if any peace officer may have been in a backslidden state, may You call them back unto Your side where they can find forgiveness and restoration. Continue to protect every peace officer across America and abroad with Your Mighty Shield. May You forever be our Rock and Fortress, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
