Our Father in Heaven, on behalf of law enforcement officers across America, we continue to come before Your Thone of Grace with boldness and humility to seek Your mercies and grace to descend upon every one of Your peacemakers. And again Lord, we seek Your amazing grace and mercy upon this Cass County Sheriff’s deputy who was seriously wounded and a wounded New York City Police Officer shot in the face with a shotgun. As it is reported the deputy’s condition is unknown and the officer is in good condition, we ask that Your presence be made known in their heart and mind and may You draw him ever so close to Your side. As they are being treated at a trauma center, we ask You to fill the medical staff with wisdom and grace to render the correct treatment and bring about a full recovery. May these peacemakers intimately sense Your love, mercy and healing power upon his heart, mind and body. May Your grace and Your Presence also be with their family who nearly experienced the loss of their loved one. O’ God, hold them tightly in Your Mighty Arms! May Your grace touch the many other law enforcement officers who assisted in these incidents and may each sense the presence of Your grace and peace in their hearts as You carry them through this life-threatening ordeal. May You give the investigators wisdom and insight to gather all the facts in order to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident in which the suspects died. May You use this life-threatening incident to speak to the hearts of every law enforcement officer who were at those scenes and cause them to look inwardly at their hearts and souls. If any peace officer does not know you or if any officer is in a backslidden state, may they hear the sweet voice of Your Holy Spirit calling them back unto Your side. May every member of the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and New York City Police department know Your Word says to, “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” May You raise up chaplains and other Godly law enforcement officers to be a light to each of them and point them to the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May You supernaturally protect every law enforcement officer at all times. In their hearts, may they know Your word says, “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’” May Your love reign supreme in the heart of every law enforcement officer in Cass County, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
